Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and roll-out of the new cross-border controls framework
  • Cross-Border Controls Process Subject Matter Expertise and Ongoing Monitoring of Controls
  • Supporting local asset management entities to ensure effective implementation of the new controls framework
  • Proactively identifying and escalating issues, proposing feasible solutions, and monitoring technical solutions
  • Ensuring operational effectiveness and accuracy in process and deliverables

As a subject matter expert in this field, you will be responsible for ensuring that the controls process is operationally effective and meets quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in the finance industry, specifically within asset management
  • 4-5 years of experience in risks and controls management with a focus on cross-border regulation or regulatory compliance
  • Experience working with legal or regulatory compliance professionals to respond to business inquiries or requests for information
  • Proven experience in team management, leadership, and performance optimization
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently
