Business Development Manager

We are seeking an accomplished business leader with years of experience in business development, new account acquisition, relationship management, and sales execution. The ideal candidate must have work experience in the recruitment industry and demonstrate a high level of knowledge in prospecting, managing, and developing relationships with business owners while executing sales strategies to obtain job orders and exceed monthly goals.

This role demands an exceptional balance of drive and commitment, coupled with exemplary interpersonal skills, topped off with a win-win mindset. The Business Development Manager possesses the uncanny ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a high-paced and fast-changing work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior management to define the sales roadmap and engage with key targets to build awareness, identify opportunities, develop a sales pipeline, and deliver revenue goals.
  • Agree upon specific targets and work towards achieving them. Be accountable for a revenue target as agreed with senior management. Achieve sales and margin targets through consultative sales approaches.
  • Deliver customized staffing solutions through consultative sales approaches.
  • Conduct market research and effectively present the company's services to new clients.
  • Penetrate new business through calling, in-person meetings/presentations with key client managers and senior executives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Perform outbound calls to key decision-makers, build relationships, follow up consistently, and obtain job orders and inquiries to provide staff for their company.
  • Generate new business through telephone calls, emails, meetings, presentations, and participation in networking organizations/events.
  • Client relationship management and retention to ensure regular business from new clients.
  • Utilize existing business relationships, customer networks, and contacts to open new business for the company and close deals.
  • Sole responsibility is to obtain new inquiries/orders for the company's recruiters to fill.
  • Manage directly all aspects of a sales process with minimal supervision required.
  • Identify key customer influencers, decision-makers, executives, and develop relationships within each account.
  • Listen, interpret, and understand customer business challenges and deliver exceptional service and results to clients with the objective of enhancing our market presence and reputation.
