We are seeking a senior design engineer to lead our team in designing surface pressure control equipment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with API 6A product design and certification processes, as well as proficiency in various CAD tools and engineering analysis software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality pressure control equipment that meets or exceeds API 6A standards.
  • Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools such as INVENTOR, VAULT, and SolidWorks.
  • Conduct FEA and mechanical calculations to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain, to drive project success.
  • Provide engineering support for prototype testing, failure analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in design reviews, DFMEAs, and engineering change processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal engineering standards and best practices.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, including material specifications, test procedures, and certification packages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering in the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to analyze complex problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, API 6A, and API Q1 standards is a must.
