Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with experience in the banking domain to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact projects.

  • A strong stakeholder management, reporting, and communication skills will be an asset for this role.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have hands-on understanding of Java, Microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  2. Manage and engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project.
  3. Prepare and present detailed project reports, dashboards, and status updates to senior management and clients.
  4. Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with architecture standards.
  5. Drive adoption of DevOps practices and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  6. Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  7. Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement and willingly shoulder additional responsibilities as needed.
  8. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
  • Proven ability to generate clear, concise, and insightful reports and presentations.
  • Hands-on understanding of Java, Microservices architecture, and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
