Job Title: Risk Management Strategist

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned and accomplished Director of Third-Party Risk Management to spearhead our third-party risk management initiatives. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of customized risk management solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of large and mid-sized organizations.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex outsourcing relationships and contracts within highly regulated environments, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as OCC, ECB, and CPS230.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive third-party risk management strategies that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage industry-leading technologies, including Archer, OneTrust, and ProcessUnity, to enhance risk management processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and analyze third-party vendors, addressing financial, operational, technical, and reputational risks associated with their engagements.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive management by leading training sessions and workshops on TPRM best practices throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the TPRM program, providing regular updates to senior leadership and making recommendations for enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 18+ years of experience in risk management, focusing specifically on third-party risk management initiatives.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex outsourcing relationships and contracts within regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts effectively to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), are highly desirable.
