Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Information Governance Professional to drive the design, implementation, and adoption of data governance solutions across enterprise environments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage data governance frameworks for compliance, risk management, and information security.
  • Define and implement data classification, labeling, and protection policies across various environments.
  • Configure and manage data loss prevention, insider risk management, records management, and eDiscovery tools.
  • Integrate data governance tools with security, identity, and compliance systems for end-to-end enforcement.
  • Assess current data estate, identify compliance gaps, and propose remediation strategies.
  • Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management to strengthen governance.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training, and adoption workshops.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for data governance tools.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in data governance, information security, or compliance.
  • Strong expertise with data governance tools, including data classification, DLP, and information protection.
  • Proven track record with sensitivity labels, retention policies, and data classification frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of security and compliance capabilities.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, identity management, and compliance platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and ability to map them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate or Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals.
  • Experience with data governance tools and the wider data security ecosystem.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale deployments, migrations, and compliance rollouts.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools, workflow automation, and governance workflows.
