Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Architect to join our team. As a Data Governance Architect, you will play a key role in designing, architecting, deploying, and maintaining big data-based data governance solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data governance tools and technologies, as well as strong technical management skills. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of data governance engineers and collaborating with business consultants, analysts, data scientists, senior data engineers, and developers to develop data solutions.

Your work will involve technical management across the full life cycle of data projects from requirement gathering and analysis to platform selection, design of the architecture, and deployment. You will also be responsible for scaling the solution in a cloud-based infrastructure or a non-cloud option and any custom configurations thereof.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, deploy, and maintain big data-based data governance solutions
  • Lead and mentor a team of data governance engineers
  • Collaborate with business consultants, analysts, data scientists, senior data engineers, and developers to develop data solutions
  • Scale the solution in a cloud-based infrastructure or a non-cloud option and any custom configurations thereof

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of overall technical experience with knowledge on technology around Python/GenAI (a plus)
  • 5+ years in data governance tool solutions/implementations
  • Hands-on experience with data governance solutions with a good understanding of data catalog, business glossary, business metadata, technical metadata, operational metadata, data quality, data profiling, data lineage, and automation
