Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development and implementation of a robust data governance framework. This pivotal role will involve collaborating with senior stakeholders to design and scale best-in-class practices, drive adoption, and foster a culture of trusted data across the organization.

This high-visibility opportunity demands an accomplished data governance specialist who can take ownership of our data intelligence platform and lead enterprise-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and administer a comprehensive data governance strategy across the enterprise.
  • Design and configure the operating model for our data intelligence platform, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Create and optimize custom workflows using business process management notation (BPMN) and workflow designer.
  • Integrate our data intelligence platform with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Azure, and Informatica, via application programming interfaces (APIs).
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and evangelist for our data intelligence platform, promoting adoption and governance maturity across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with relevant governance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with our data intelligence platform, including configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Expertise in APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages, such as Groovy and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, Azure, and AWS.
