Job Overview – Global Master Data Governance Specialist

The role of a Global Expert in Master Data OASIS is to govern, maintain, and enhance the data management platform for global governance standards. This position ensures seamless integration between workflows and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This job entails owning the OASIS Master Data Governance platform, ensuring system stability and enhancements, while defining and maintaining governance workflows for Customers, Vendors, and Materials. Collaboration with domain experts is required to translate governance rules into technical processes.

  • Define and implement governance controls in OASIS to enforce proper documentation uploads and validation rules.
  • Act as an escalation point for issues related to workflows stuck in error or integration failures.
  • Drive system improvements, automation, and reporting for Master Data requests handled through OASIS.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in IT with a focus on Master Data Governance systems.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP Customer, Vendor, and Material Master data.
  • Expertise in workflow design and integration between governance platforms and SAP.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, KYC, Dow Jones screening).
  • Background in data harmonization and master data cleanup initiatives.
