Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to analyze and optimize our Power BI tenant environment.

Your responsibilities include analyzing current usage patterns and licensing in the Power BI tenant environment, identifying inactive or redundant workspaces, and defining governance structures for workspace creation and ownership.

  • Analyze usage patterns and licensing in the Power BI tenant environment.
  • Identify and document inactive or redundant workspaces to optimize performance.
  • Implement governance structures for workspace creation, access, and lifecycle management.
  • Customize FUAM reports and metrics to support monitoring, alerting, and usage insights.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate telemetry data into Microsoft Fabric.
Key Requirements:
  1. Advanced SQL and DAX skills.
  2. Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  3. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight timelines.
