Job Title: Plant HR/IR Professional for a Leading Automotive Company

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Plant HR/IR Professional to support and manage various human resources functions within the plant or manufacturing facility. As a key member of the management team, you will work closely with plant management and employees to ensure effective HR practices, compliance with policies and regulations, and a positive work environment.

The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policy implementation. You will also be responsible for fostering positive employee relations, mediating conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and grievances">
  • Foster positive employee relations and maintain a harmonious work environment">
  • MEDIATE AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS OR DISPUTES BETWEEN EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT">
  • COLLABORATE WITH LABOR UNIONS, IF APPLICABLE, TO NEGOTIATE, ADMINISTER, AND INTERPRET COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS">
  • HANDLE EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCES AND COMPLAINTS, ENSURING A FAIR AND TIMELY RESOLUTION">
  • CONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS, GATHER RELEVANT INFORMATION, AND RECOMMEND APPROPRIATE ACTIONS">
  • LIAISE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL, AS NECESSARY, FOR COMPLEX OR ESCALATED CASES">
  • STAY UPDATED ON RELEVANT LABOR LAWS, REGULATIONS, AND EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES">
  • ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH LEGAL REQUIREMENTS, SUCH AS MINIMUM WAGE, WORKING HOURS, LEAVE ENTITLEMENTS, AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY">
  • ASSIST IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING HR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES IN ALIGNMENT WITH LABOR LAWS">
  • FACILITATE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION CHANNELS BETWEEN MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES">
  • ORGANIZE AND CONDUCT EMPLOYEE MEETINGS, TOWN HALLS, AND OTHER FORUMS TO ADDRESS CONCERNS, SHARE INFORMATION, AND PROMOTE ENGAGEMENT">

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills">
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks">
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, as well as HR best practices">

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field">
  • Professional certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR">
  • Experience in collective bargaining, grievance management, and conflict resolution">
  • Knowledge of HR information systems and technology">
  • Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish or Mandarin">
