Senior Systems Architect

This role is responsible for designing and implementing integrated system solutions across the Digital Power portfolio. It involves hands-on exploration of software and hardware, writing requirements for R&D teams, and validating customer needs.

  • Collaborate with solution engineering, product management, and technical teams to understand and refine functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Work with Technical leadership and software technical architects to optimize system design.
  • Detailed system requirements involve cross-component interaction and optimized user experience.
  • Visualize system architectures using interface and lifecycle diagraming techniques.
  • Detail requirements into Agile-based Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance criteria.
Key Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in hardware and communications architectures, software architectures including data acquisition, storage, and web visualization.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, BACNet, OPC DA UA, IEC61850, SNMP.
  • Experience with application segments such as Data Centers, Energy, Chemical, Power, Grid, Power Operation or similar SCADA offers and connected communication hardware gateways.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or relevant certification.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers and technical colleagues.
