Senior Linux System Administrator Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Linux System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our Linux servers.

  • LVM Concept: Responsible for creating, extending and troubleshooting File Systems (FS).
  • Multipath Concept: Validates multipath configuration, adds LUNs and enables multipath.
  • Performance Management: Ensures performance specifications are met.
  • Security: Evaluates and corrects OS vulnerabilities by patching servers.
  • Coordination: Coordinates with vendors for hardware and OS level issues.
  • Log Management: Rotates logs and manages file system usage, changing permissions and ownership as needed.
  • Implementation: Implements changes at the OS level based on application and DB team requirements.
  • SLA Adherence: Follows Do's and Don't as per SLA, adheres to customer process while handling BAU.
  • Service Management: Manages NTP, SSH, AUTOFS services.
  • Troubleshooting: Fixes server access and bootable issues, including Grub fixing.
  • OS Troubleshooting: Troubleshoots OS level issues to bring up servers.

OS Migration is an added advantage.
