BIM Modeler MEP Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our team. As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for developing detailed models from drawings, sketches, and calculations for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services.

  • Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services from schematic design through construction phases for architecture, interior, and landscape design schemes.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge in developing detailed models from drawings, sketches, and calculations for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services for a diverse range of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop discipline-specific BIM system families for projects.
  • Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules, and quantity take-offs.
  • Ensure coordinated and clash-free models in coordination with the design team.
  • Maintain and organize Revit project files, libraries, and standards.
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support to the project team.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, design engineers, interior designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.
