Senior Performance Tester

We are seeking a Senior Performance Tester to play a key role in our engineering team, developing a comprehensive performance testing strategy.

  • Maintain expertise in performance/load testing best practices.
  • Design and develop solutions for supporting Cloud (Azure DevOps) and CI/CD for Sev utilization.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and external vendors.
  • Monitor server metrics using APM tools.
  • Participate in continuous improvement measures to increase automation effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Innovate and implement solutions following industry standards.
  • Conduct analysis of business requirements, solution designs, and process documentation to identify feasible business-critical transactions.
  • Implement best performance test practices and standards as part of Enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct endurance, stress, load, volume testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance.
  • Provide performance testing software systems support for respective business units.
  • Coordinate and execute creation of Test Cases, scripts, and performance test execution.
  • Design, develop, and execute scripts validating test cases defined within projects' test plans.
  • Perform load testing across multiple messaging protocols (including HTTP), focusing on overall application performance, validating application responses accurately reflecting business requirements.

People Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • Min 5 years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner using protocols Citrix, RDP, Java, and mobile technologies.
  • Significant experience working with JMeter and APM tools including New Relic and Grafana.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in performance testing principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle and software quality assurance processes and practices.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience working on continuous improvement projects is desirable.
  • Experience working in distributed delivery models with teams spread across different regions is advantageous.
