Job Title: Biopharmaceutical Scientist
Our company is looking for an experienced Biopharmaceutical Scientist to join our team. As a key member of the research and development department, you will be responsible for conducting in-silico simulations, pharmacokinetic modeling, and IVIVC model establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct expertise in handling Gastroplus, Phoenix WinNonlin, and DDD Plus software to perform in-silico simulations supporting generic formulation development.
- Establish PBPK and IVIVC models using expertise in pharmacokinetic modeling.
- Collaborate with associates on in-vitro experimentations such as solubility, IDR, and biorelevant dissolution methods development.
- Review raw data from various in-vitro experiments and BE studies.
- Independently write protocols, reports, or lab procedures based on templates.
- Work closely with a multifunctional project team.
- Independently perform and document in-silico modeling and simulation for various biopharmaceutical activities.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge on excipients used in OSDs.
- Provide documentation and draw conclusions independently; design next experiments; supervise project-related scientific/technical activities.
- Communicate, address, and solve problems (e.g., deviations and unexpected results) within own and broader area of responsibility; communicate effectively across organizational interfaces.
- Required Qualifications:
- 6-9 years experience in Biopharmaceutics R&D, IVIVC from generic pharmaceutical industry.
- MPharm (Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology); PhD (Pharmaceutical Sciences; Pharmaceutical Technology).
- Attributes required of the job e.g. ability to work independently; ability to work in a team; shows initiative; able to work with all levels of staff.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
