Biopharmaceutical Modeling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biopharmaceutical Modeling Specialist to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling software such as Gastroplus, Phoenix WinNonlin and DDD Plus for in-silico simulations supporting generic formulation development.
  • They should also possess strong knowledge of Pharmacokinetic modeling and PBPK/IVIVC model establishment.
  • Collaboration with associates for in vitro experimentations including solubility, IDR and biorelevant dissolution method development is essential.
  • Review of raw data from various in vitro experiments and BE studies will be required.
  • The successful candidate will independently write protocols, reports or lab procedures based on templates.
  • Close collaboration with multifunctional project teams and independent in silico modeling and simulation for various biopharmaceutical activities are expected.
  • Thorough knowledge of excipients used in oral solid dosage forms is necessary.
  • Providing documentation and drawing relevant conclusions independently, designing next experiments and supervising scientific/technical project activities are key responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving, communication and effective organizational interface management are also critical skills.
Requirements

We require the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6-9 years' experience in Biopharmaceutics R&D, specifically IVIVC from generic pharmaceutical industry.
  • M.Pharm (Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology) or Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences; Pharmaceutical Technology).
  • Attributes such as ability to work independently, teamwork, initiative, and communication skills are essential.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
