Scientist Role in Biopharmaceutical Development

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Asso Scientist IVIVC with a strong background in analytical development from the generic pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and performing scientific experiments, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with quality risk management and GDevP/GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform scientific experiments for drug product development in collaboration with a multifunctional project team.
  • Support development projects to create stable, bioequivalent, robust, and cost-competitive dosage forms.
  • Design and manage experiments/batches for simple/low complexity products under supervision.
  • Execute experiments in agreement with quality risk management and GDevP/GMP standards.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing the technological part of the dossier.
  • Develop and optimize new dissolution methods mimicking physiological systems.
  • Perform and document solubility experiments, dissolution method activities, and other characterization methods.
  • Analyze samples using HPLC/UPLC and spectrophotometric methods, addressing chromatographic method issues.
  • Write protocols, reports, or lab procedures based on templates under expert supervision.
  • Document risk assessments at pre-evaluation stage under expert guidance.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in analytical development from generic pharmaceutical industry.
  • M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics), M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry), or B.Pharm degree.
  • Attributes: ability to work independently, teamwork, initiative, communication skills.
