Key Responsibilities:
  • User and Access Management:
    • Inviting new users, setting up App Access Groups to ensure appropriate access to applications and data, and managing user roles and permissions.
  • Application Deployment and Monitoring:
    • Overseeing the deployment of new applications, monitoring their performance, and managing the application lifecycle.
  • Platform Configuration and Maintenance:
    • Configuring settings within the Mendix platform, managing Marketplace content, and ensuring the platform is running smoothly.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Addressing issues related to the platform and applications, working with users and technical teams to resolve problems.
  • Security Management:
    • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the platform and its data, including user authentication and authorization.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Working with various stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the platform effectively supports business needs.
  • Staying Updated:
    • Mendix administrators keep up-to-date with the latest platform features, security updates, and best practices.
  • Specific Tasks:
    • Managing Users and Groups: Adding, removing, and modifying user accounts and access rights.
    • Managing Apps: Deploying new applications, managing versions, and monitoring performance.
    • Managing Marketplace Content: Adding and configuring components from the Mendix Marketplace.
    • Monitoring Platform Health: Tracking resource usage, performance metrics, and security logs.
    • Configuring Platform Settings: Setting up company-specific configurations, such as security settings and branding.
    • Troubleshooting Issues: Investigating and resolving platform and application-related issues.
    • Documenting Processes: Creating and maintaining documentation for platform usage and administration.
