About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our database development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and be able to drive strategic direction, job monitoring, scheduling, configuration, and maintenance of batch jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact and resolve user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide a seamless experience for users.
  • Develop operational processes, guidelines, and best practices to streamline support operations and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Log, prioritize, and collaborate on resolving bugs and technical issues.
  • Monitor critical issues, escalate as needed, and provide workarounds for unsupported functionality.
  • Troubleshoot daily issues and guide the team on solving tickets.
  • Refine Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot SSIS packages, Stored Procedures, SQL Queries, Automation Processes, and SQL Jobs with performance in mind.
  • Convert, manipulate, and prepare large data volumes for ingestion using SQL Server integration tools.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot reporting queries in SQL Server 2019.
  • Maintain and support data ingestion tools and automation scripts.
  • Manage and resolve customer-reported data-related issues.
  • Conduct quality and business logic checks on all system data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years' database and application development experience.
  • Proven SQL Language Experience with high-performing SQL.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Sisense and SSRS.
  • MS SQL Server expertise.
  • Data Modeling knowledge.
  • Scripting language experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
