Bookkeeping Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team.

  • As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for owning daily posting and month-end close for multiple locations; maintaining standardized chart of accounts by brand.

You will also reconcile bank/credit card/merchant accounts and third-party delivery or marketplace deposits (e.g., POS sales to deposits and resolve over/short cash variances).

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in SMB or franchise bookkeeping (multi-unit strongly preferred) with proficient skills in QuickBooks Online (classes/locations, bank rules, recurring journals); Xero a plus.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with at least one POS listed above and marketplace/aggregator reconciliations. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills are required (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling).

Responsibilities include recording daily sales summaries (net of discounts, comps, refunds, taxes, tips), tracking inventory/COGS and waste; post landed costs; help implement perpetual or period inventory where applicable.

Additional responsibilities include running three-way match for vendor bills (PO/invoice/receipt) where used; code shared costs across locations.

The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

**Job Description:**

  • AP/AR & Cash Control: Reconcile bank/credit card/merchant accounts and third-party delivery or marketplace deposits.

**Qualifications:**

  • 3+ years in SMB or franchise bookkeeping (multi-unit strongly preferred).
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Online (classes/locations, bank rules, recurring journals).
  • Hands-on with at least one POS listed above and marketplace/aggregator reconciliations.
