Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. With a large and dynamic organization, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a significant number of vendors and stakeholders.
- Explain and assist vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process, ensuring all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Reconcile vendor ledgers with our financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Send payment requests to the finance department on a timely basis.
- Analyze bank statements and payment processes to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Generate and approve vendor invoices in accordance with company policies.
- Resolve vendor payment queries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare payment record documents for audits and reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (MCom), or Chartered Accountant (CA) Intermediate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and corporate finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel skills.
- Complete knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and laws governing the accounting field.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
