About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in Bangalore or Mumbai, India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and emailing, to connect with decision-makers and set up qualified meetings for our sales team.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales-qualified opportunities by penetrating new accounts and identifying potential prospects.
- Analyze customer engagement and retention roadblocks, and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Utilize high-volume cold calling, emailing, and social selling techniques to access decision-makers and deploy innovative sales tactics.
- Manage all prospective clients and opportunities in our CRM system, ensuring accurate logging of communications.
- Redefine outbound sales strategies and improve conversion rates across the business development pipeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet revenue targets.
Requirements:
- At least 2-7 years' experience in phone-based, outbound B2B sales development/inside sales roles.
- Excellent proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Clear, compelling, and personalized communication skills across email and social media platforms.
- Positive speaking skills, strong listening skills, and writing skills.
- The ability to handle rejections efficiently and possess good understanding of running and executing email drip campaigns.
- Proven ability to undertake in-depth online research and utilize social media effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
