Job Description:

As a Strategic Business Development Professional, you will play a crucial role in understanding expansion plans of companies into international markets. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients, generate leads and support economic development agencies in attracting investments in their region.

The successful candidate will have strong networking skills and thorough understanding of various business sectors of client countries. You will be responsible for interaction and business development meetings with companies looking to invest into international markets, specifically in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of client's proposition, geography, various sectors, business strengths of the region, tax benefits for an investor, policies and compliances.
  • Manage the complete investment promotion project of our client geographies (Economic Development Organisations).
  • Conduct evaluation meetings with Indian companies/conglomerates.
  • Engage in discussions with CXOs of Indian companies and develop an understanding of their expansion plans in various international markets.
  • Identify companies with business interests to invest/expand in the international markets and generate leads.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in trade promotion bodies/expert network/trade and investment promotion/investment attraction/SME-corporate banking/economic development/market entry with experience in business development and handling overseas clients.
  • Strong industry expertise and networks. Experience of business development will be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English is must.
  • Understanding of market entry, cross border investments, internationalization via international market expansion.
  • Experience of new business development and client handling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preference for master's in fields of economics, finance, international business (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
  • Demonstrated ability to work inter team, collaborate, ideate, engage with clients and work in global teams.
