The position of Channel Sales Manager is a high-level role that requires strong leadership skills to drive business growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities include achieving overall Gross Written Premium, ensuring sustainable profitability, maintaining operational hygiene, recruiting and retaining agents, and activating new business opportunities.
Stakeholder interfaces are critical to success in this role. Internal stakeholders include Operations teams for policy issuance, Underwriters for risk analysis, Finance teams for taxation handling, Human Resources for talent development, Training Teams for employee enablement, and NSM/RSM/ASM colleagues for strategic input.
External stakeholders include Agents and Brokers who play a vital role in the sales process.
Experience in insurance is essential, with a minimum of 5-6 years' experience and at least 3-4 years of leadership experience in Retail Sales.
While any graduation qualification is acceptable, candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of the insurance industry and its complexities.
