Technical Support Specialist, Voice-Enabled Technologies

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Alexa Communication team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their voice-enabled experiences are seamless and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in systems availability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Work directly with our development teams to identify and resolve primary causes of service impacting issues.
- Develop internal tools to improve support-related processes and automated incident resolution.
- Balance support/ops requests with software development or systems engineering work.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- Experience in Unix.
- Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems.
