Senior Production Manager

Key Responsibilities of Senior Production Manager:

  • Servicing: Oversees Manual Insertion, FG Production and Testing Line Production effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Line Management: Leads the management of SMT Line, PCB, and Unit Assembly line of Production, driving efficiency and quality standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborates with the Planning Team to execute Daily, Weekly, and monthly material planning, achieving Maximum Productive Potential (MPP) targets.
  • Challenges Resolution: Resolves daily challenges through Standardized Inter-Departmental Methodologies (SIM) 1, 2, 3, and 5.
  • Liaison Role: Leads SIM-3 and SIM-5 alongside Heads of Department from Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Warehouse, Facilities, Planning, Procurement, Safety, and HR.
  • Production Meetings: Conducts productive Production meetings to address productivity, efficiency, and Quality concerns.
  • Operations Coordination: Coordinates the day-to-day operations across Manufacturing inter-department, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Project Management: Spearheads Key Enhancement (KE) projects and improvement project activities in coordination with Support groups.
  • ECO Documentation: Actively manages ECO documentation and implementation control.
  • Procedure Review: Reviews and recommends enhancements for existing inter-Department procedures.
  • NQC Control: Consistently monitors and controls Non-Quality costs through corrective measures with the support of Statistical Reporting Tool (SRT).
  • Customer Complaints: Takes corrective actions through projects to address customer complaints.
  • SPS Implementation: Proactively implements and maintains Supply Process System (SPS) systems.
  • KPI Monitoring: Ensures ongoing monitoring and improvement of all production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manpower Planning: Drives manpower planning for the plant and implements multi-skilling for the workforce.
  • Daily Planning: Continuously monitors and refines daily production planning based on Operation Time-Distance Matrix (OTDM) requirements and Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Barrier Overcoming: Actively drives projects to overcome Repeated Barriers hindering the achievement of KPIs.
