Occupational Therapist Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will work with children to address various developmental and clinical needs. This role requires a hands-on approach to therapy, consistent interaction with children and their families, and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and planning therapy for children with various disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitating rehabilitation and coordinating with other specialists

Qualifications required include: Occupational Therapy skills, knowledge in Medicine and Rehabilitation, proficient communication skills, experience in Pediatrics, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational and documentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field is also necessary, as well as a license to practice Occupational Therapy in the relevant state or region. Experience in a clinical or therapy setting is highly valued but not essential.

Working Environment:

This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and requires consistent interaction with children and their families. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team working towards providing the best care possible for each child.
