Job Opportunity: Motion Designer and Video Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled motion designer and video content creator to join our team.

This is a remote, part-time contract position that requires 4 hours of work per day, Monday through Friday.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create high-quality, animated educational videos for a variety of audiences.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe After Effects, Figma, Premiere Pro, and other industry-standard tools.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will have strong storytelling abilities and be comfortable working with complex concepts.

We are looking for someone who can bring creativity and enthusiasm to this role and is able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and animate explainer videos using industry-standard software.
  • Transform scripts and storyboards into polished motion videos.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and subject matter experts to simplify complex content.
  • Create animated assets such as charts, UI flows, and crypto concepts.
  • Record or edit voiceovers, sync audio, and apply subtle sound design.
  • Maintain brand style guides, animation principles, and reusable templates.
  • Optimize videos for YouTube, app platforms, and social media.
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in motion design, video content creation, or explainer video production.
  • A solid portfolio of 2D or motion graphic explainers.
  • Strong storytelling ability and comfort working with abstract concepts.
  • Ability to work under creative direction while also proposing improvements.
What You'll Deliver:
  • 1-3 minute animated explainers (script-to-final with feedback cycles).
  • Script-to-final output cycle (including feedback rounds).
  • Social media cutdowns (10-30 seconds).
