Content Creator Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing original content ideas, designing high-quality visuals, and editing short-form videos for our social media channels.

The Role:

As a Content Creator, you will be an integral part of our communications team. Your primary responsibilities will include conceptualization and ideation of fresh and impactful content ideas, creating engaging graphics and videos, and utilizing design tools like Canva to produce high-quality visual content efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization & Ideation: Develop original content ideas that align with our messaging strategy.
  • Hands-On Creation: Design and produce visually compelling graphics and short-form videos.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize Canva and mobile-first video editing apps to create and edit content efficiently.
  • Trendspotting: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, meme formats, and viral content.
  • Multi-Platform Adaptation: Adapt and resize content for different social media platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team to ensure all content is factually accurate.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Content Creator or similar role.
  • Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your creative work is essential.
  • Mastery of Canva: High proficiency in Canva is a must.
  • Video Editing Skills: Experience with mobile video editing apps for creating sharp fast-paced Reels and Shorts.
  • Social Media Native: An intuitive understanding of what type of content works on different social media platforms.
  • Speed & Agility: The ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Political Interest: A keen interest in and good understanding of Indian politics and current affairs.
