Job Title: Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to enhance our dynamic content team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling and passion for creating compelling visual content tailored for digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.

This role involves editing short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with brand tone and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit short and long-form video content for digital platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that meet brand expectations.
  • Trim footage segments, assemble sequences, and add transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
  • Develop motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
  • A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
