The role of an HR Operations Assistant is a crucial position within any organization. This individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive support across various facets, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general operations.

Responsibilities

This role involves maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating HR processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day operational needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing employee documentation, such as new hire forms, benefits enrollment, and personnel files
  • Maintaining accurate employee records in a centralized system
  • Processing benefits updates and open enrollment changes
  • Supporting annual compensation inputs across HR systems
  • Ensuring timely follow-up on onboarding, offboarding, and checklist-driven HR tasks

This role also involves recruitment and talent acquisition, where the candidate will source and screen applicants from multiple platforms, conduct initial phone screenings, coordinate interview scheduling, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in HR and/or operations support. They must have strong data management skills, proficiency in HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to track employee attendance, leave, and remote work requests, coordinate logistics, manage procurement, and provide support for employee income tax documentation and filings.
