Physiotherapy Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Physiotherapy professional to lead our department in academic, administrative, and clinical matters.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership to the Physiotherapy department, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice.
  • Developing and implementing academic programs that meet University and statutory council norms.
  • Supervising curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment.
  • Mentoring faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums.
  • Ensuring effective clinical training and integration with hospital services.
Administrative Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also oversee day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy department, including:

  • Compliance with statutory regulations (UGC, State Council, University guidelines).
  • Recruitment, mentorship, and evaluation of faculty and staff performance.
  • Preparation of budgets, management of resources, and infrastructure adequacy.
Quality and Compliance

The successful candidate must ensure adherence to accreditation standards (NABH, NAAC, etc.) and maintain proper records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physiotherapy (specialization desirable in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory).
  • Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Research-oriented mindset with publications in reputed journals.
