Service Engineer - Micro Imaging

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Service Engineer in the field of Micro Imaging.

Job Description:

The primary role of a Service Engineer in this position is to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and functionality of Micro Imaging instruments. This involves setting up equipment, calibrating it for optimal performance, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and performing regular maintenance to prevent system failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, calibration, validation, and commissioning of instruments
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repairs at customer sites
  • Achieving service and spare part targets within assigned territories
  • Providing support to customers across north India on instrument operation, both on-site and remotely
  • Maintaining calendars for preventive maintenance visits and attending service calls from customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience handling medical devices, particularly high-end and advanced imaging equipment and devices
  • A good customer service attitude
  • Willingsness to travel extensively across the region
  • A self-starter with minimum assistance needed in performing tasks
  • A problem-solving attitude

Qualification:

BSc/MSc, B.Tech/M.Tech in Biosciences or Life Sciences or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electric & Electronics or Biomedical Engineering

Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
