Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Payroll Consultant, who will be responsible for defining requirements, designing processes, and recommending automation and improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in payroll, as well as excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with the client to interpret their requirements and build a User Acceptance Test (UAT) catalogue. They will also validate UAT payroll reports and reconciliations before releasing them to the client. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Lead Consultant to resolve issues during implementation and liaise directly with the client on implementation testing.

The Payroll Consultant will be responsible for preparing necessary handover documentation, including checklists and client sign-off worksheets, in readiness for go-live. They will also maintain up-to-date documentation for the implementation project, including reconciliation spreadsheets, manuals, and test tools.

Other responsibilities include participating in process reviews and implementing recommendations, testing patches and upgrades in a test environment before they are loaded into production, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
