Key Leadership Role

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the strategic management, enhancement, and optimization of hospitality and commercial real estate assets.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior executives to drive business initiatives, leveraging their financial acumen, operator expertise, and ownership insights.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Foster high-performing hotel and restaurant assets by monitoring financial and operational metrics
  • Lead budget finalization processes with operating partners (top-tier hotel brands/operators), ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Analyze performance data, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to optimize ROI
  • Benchmark RevPAR, GOP, ADR, occupancy, and EBITDA trends against industry standards using STR reports
  • Oversee leasing, tenant relationships, and yield enhancement at key locations and future commercial developments
  • Maintain CAM, tenant compliance, facilities, and lifecycle maintenance
  • Develop monetization strategies through leasing, joint ventures, REITs, or selective exits
  • Promote the development of land banks in key markets, including Kerala and Chennai
  • Manage RFPs for architects, contractors, and brand/operator tie-ups
  • Evaluate feasibility, design concepts, and financial models for new hotels, resorts, and mixed-use developments
  • Select suitable hotel brands across segments
  • Negotiate management agreements and commercial terms
  • Ensure operator relationships align with organizational objectives
  • Track asset performance via MIS, dashboards, and board presentations
  • Support senior executives in preparing investment strategy papers, pitch decks, and deal structuring
  • Monitor hospitality and real estate trends for informed decision making
Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic outlook
  • Ability to handle operator negotiations, feasibility analysis, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for executive-level interactions
  • Project management and execution coordination ability
  • Willingness to travel periodically across South India

8–15 years of relevant experience in hotel asset management, real estate development, or investment advisory. Experience working with top-tier hotel brands/operators. Strong knowledge of hotel P&L, lease structuring, CapEx ROI, and development cycles. Exposure to heritage restoration, commercial leasing, and hospitality contracting.
