Job Summary

As an Area Director at ATSPL - Haryana, you will be responsible for overseeing all budgetary, personnel development, and operations objectives of our Amazon Fresh Fulfillment Center. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and lead a team of Team Leads, coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations, and develop leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change/Six Sigma initiatives to enable your Functional Area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed Business Plan.
• Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Area Managers.
• Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Team leads accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
• Ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and among the network.
• Collaborate with support staff to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in your area, as well as provide needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting your functional area.

Key Performance Areas

Safety: Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
Quality: Implement quality initiatives to ensure high-quality products and services.
Customer Experience: Focus on providing an excellent customer experience by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Productivity: Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
