Investment Portfolio Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's investment portfolio, ensuring it remains aligned with organizational objectives. The Investment Portfolio Manager will work closely with senior executives to devise strategic plans for allocating surplus funds, aiming to maximize returns on investments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of market trends and sector dynamics, developing comprehensive financial models and monitoring assigned companies regularly.
  • Examining financial reports, including balance sheets and cash flow statements, to inform investment decisions.
  • Performing market and portfolio analysis to support equity investment decisions, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Providing ongoing coverage of allocated industry sectors and individual stocks, monitoring earnings results, corporate actions, and macro events that may impact investments.
  • Liaising with back-office teams to ensure timely trade processing and facilitate efficient operations.
  • Analyzing market conditions, conducting research on financial, social, and economic data, and updating portfolios accordingly.
  • Evaluating potential investment opportunities and preparing reports highlighting risks and potential returns.

Requirements:

  • Candidate should possess a CA or Full-time MBA Finance degree, with at least 8-12 years of experience in investment management.
  • Working experience with SAP systems would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills are required to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
