Lead Automotive Engineer Job Description

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the Passenger Car industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Passenger Car Body-In-White (BIW) structure and assembly
  • Strong experience in UG NX, Parametric Modelling, surface modelling and Teamcenter
  • Ability to interpret results of Structural, Static & Dynamic, manufacturing simulations for BIW Components
  • Experience with Manufacturing & Joining techniques of BIW structures
  • Concept generation of BIW components using CAD design and develop BIW panels for the automotive industry
  • Cost optimization ideas on the components and assembly
  • Team leadership and coordination with cross-functional teams
