Strategic AI & ML Leader

This role will play a pivotal part in driving the widespread adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) across our organization. As a key influencer, you will work closely with senior leadership to understand business processes and propose strategic use of AI/ML to enhance business outcomes.

You will collaborate with functional heads to identify and solve complex business challenges leveraging AI & Analytics solutions. This will involve translating business problems into analytical problems and building solutions using AI/ML techniques to drive strategic initiatives end-to-end.

Your responsibilities will include developing an approach to scale AI/ML agenda at Max Life through various AI/ML solutions. Additionally, you will enable business decision-making and co-create data-driven business strategies through storytelling with data and presenting insights to top business leaders.

You will build and manage external relationships with cross-industry and academia forums for outside-in perspectives, seeking new and innovative approaches, and showcasing learnings. Furthermore, you will drive AI & Analytics projects end-to-end, including conceptualization, development, implementation, and continuous monitoring.

You will lead the development of a strong team to become next-generation business-focused problem solvers, with a strong culture of solution delivery, continuous learning, and experimentation.

Key requirements include a Master's degree in quantitative fields like mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, etc., from top-tier institutes, and a minimum of 12-15 years of work experience in analytical roles. Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and storytelling skills are essential, as well as hands-on experience with various open-source tools and technologies such as Python, R, Spark, and deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud environments.

A deep understanding of new-age cloud-based frameworks and services around Gen AI, Vision, Text, and Speech AI is also required, along with at least 8 years of experience in a client-facing data science consulting role. The ability to form partnerships with functional leaders, influence decision-making through data, and execute organization-wide initiatives are critical measures of success in this role.
