We are currently looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in India.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-user computing devices, ensuring a seamless and efficient working environment for staff members. This role involves providing assistance with hardware and software issues, installing and configuring operating systems and software applications, responding to user inquiries via helpdesk tickets, phone, and in-person support, and maintaining inventory of IT assets and security compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-4 years of experience in desktop support or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Mac OS is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management is preferred.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair of PCs and peripherals is essential.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and basic network troubleshooting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service are crucial.
