Job Title: Hostel Warden

The primary responsibility of a Hostel Warden is to manage the overall functioning of the hostel, ensuring a safe and student-friendly environment.

This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and conflict resolution abilities to handle various situations that may arise within the hostel premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hostel Administration: Manage day-to-day operations including accommodation, maintenance, housekeeping, and catering services.
  • Student Welfare & Discipline: Maintain discipline and order among hostel residents, address grievances, and provide counseling support when needed.
  • Coordination & Supervision: Supervise support staff, coordinate with mess staff for quality food service, and liaise with university administration on hostel-related matters.
  • Safety & Security: Ensure proper security arrangements, maintain visitor records, and take prompt action during emergencies.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in a relevant field (Management, Social Sciences, Education).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hostel Warden / Administrator (preferably in an educational institution).
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle emergencies calmly.
