Job Title: Project Material Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will review and extract materials in the form of Make-To-Order on specific projects. He or she will prepare and verify detailed production packages including 3D models, ensuring that structural designers are carrying out their assigned tasks as per project schedule requirements.

In addition to these responsibilities, he or she will be expected to enhance or improve related activities or assignments in order to reduce cost and man-hours consumption. Identification of changes in client design drawings, and reporting to his or her direct supervisor is also a key part of this role.

Furthermore, he or she will be responsible for following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. This includes following information security rules and data security measures in order to protect the company's information/intellectual properties.

Finally, he or she will have the ability to generate complete discipline drawings with engineer supervision, as well as demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within an assigned project and meet required deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Capability of making, reading, and following project schedules.
  • Coordinate and teach structural designers to ensure that department-related standards are strictly followed.
  • Prepare and verify detailed production packages including 3D models.
  • Ensure that structural designer is carrying their assigned task as per project schedule requirements.
  • Enhance or improve related activities or assignments in order to reduce cost and man-hours consumptions.
  • Good technical competency and ability to generate reports with status of his or her assigned team/tasks.
