Mapletree seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead cost planning and contract management for its development projects in India.

About the Role
  • This role will provide strategic advice on early cost planning, procurement strategy, and contract administration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and people management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Effective Procurement Strategies: Ensure consistency and standardization in contract application across regions.
  • Support Project Teams: Prepare tender documents, review variations and contractual claims, and ensure legal sign-off of projects.
  • Manage Major Variations and Claims: Assess major variations and contractual claims, maintain accurate SAP cost data, and update it regularly.
Requirements
  • A degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent is required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess subject matter knowledge across design, project management, and building processes.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a professional office or construction organization is necessary.
  • Familiarity with local and international construction contracts, such as SIA, Redas, PSSCOC, PAM, FIDIC, JCT, etc., is essential.
