About the Role

This position involves providing financial leadership and strategic business support to the company's operations. The successful candidate will partner with various business units to drive financial performance, improve profitability, and support decision-making through financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support to accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and central FP&A groups to work on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
  • Become a subject matter expert on financial data to provide additional insights.
  • Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organisation.
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement by researching variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses.
  • Maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organisation.
  • Act as a liaison for the investor relations team, managing earnings guidance scenario modelling, including executive presentation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis.
Requirements

We are seeking a Chartered accountant with 3-4 years of experience in MIS and FPNA. The ideal candidate should have general knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles, experience developing financial reports and metrics, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The selected candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment. Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are essential, as well as experience of ERP like MS dynamics, business central, SAP, Oracle. Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture are also crucial.

Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication is highly valued. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹8,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 based on the location and industry standards.
