Operations Manager Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, implementing process improvements, and driving business growth.

This role is responsible for contributing to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and executing action plans, implementing production standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions, improving organizational processes and workflow, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and utilizing technology to create digital capabilities and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Contribute to operations insights and recommendations for strategic plans and reviews, prepare and execute action plans, implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolve problems; complete audits, identify trends.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, initiate corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement: Improve organizational processes and workflow, employee and equipment layout; implement changes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Results-Oriented: Achieve operations and organization goals by completing related results as needed.
  • Technology Adoption: Utilize technology to create digital capabilities and automation where possible.
