Security Solution Architect

The Solutions Consultant is the pinnacle of technical excellence in our industry, serving as the bridge between customer needs and innovative solutions. As a Solutions Consultant, you will lead technical endeavors, guiding customers through their security transformation journeys. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining cutting-edge solutions that address critical business imperatives, ensuring seamless integration and maximum ROI for our clients.

You will champion our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services, solidifying PANW as the trusted cybersecurity partner of choice.

• Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive cross-platform solution adoption, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the entire PANW portfolio, effectively addressing customer business needs.
• Conduct thorough discovery to articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
• Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure comprehensive customer implementation and adoption of solutions.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, leveraging effective presentations, customer-specific demos, technical engagements, and workshops to influence and educate.
• Lead successful technical validation efforts based on best practices, ensuring technical wins in assigned opportunities.
• Coordinate supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) to present a unified approach that showcases cohesive strategy.
• Promote end-to-end solutions incorporating PANW and/or partner professional services, driving early business value realization.
• Understand the competitive landscape and effectively differentiate our leadership.
• Continuously invest in your professional growth, developing technical and professional skills that enhance your contributions to customer success while actively engaging within the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
• IDentify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to develop a security architecture transformation roadmap.

• At least 10 years of experience handling PSUs and central government accounts.
• In-depth understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures.
• Proven track record of delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve complex technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
• Able to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role; prior pre-sales experience is highly beneficial.
• Experience managing Government tenders, RFPs, Central Government & PSU accounts, and Government-centric Partner ecosystems (Consulting Partners, SIs).
• Skilled at creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
• Partner with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Familiarity with complex sales involving long processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred.
• Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security firewalls, proxy, IPS/IDS, sandboxing, URL filtering, DNS security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
