About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and quality compliance of all procurement activities.

This includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability, negotiating price and purchase order terms with vendors to achieve best value, issuing purchase orders and tracking delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment, maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data, handling quality control reports, rejections, and replacements, monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse and operations teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  2. Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  3. Providing expert advice on contract law and sourcing strategies to support business growth.
  4. Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, minimize environmental impact, and promote sustainable practices in procurement.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and deliver results.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Operations, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with contract law and sourcing strategies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
