Job Opportunity: Business Development Associate

  • Build long-term client relationships to understand their financial goals and provide customized solutions.
  • Make daily sales calls, identify client needs, and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Regularly follow up with leads, update clients on market trends, and suggest new products or services.
  • Grow the client database by meeting new clients and referring existing ones, leading to growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) and Assets Under Administration (AUA).
  • Review and diversify existing client portfolios, providing guidance and achieving financial objectives.
  • Sell additional products to existing clients, keeping them informed about primary and secondary market trends.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge through regular training and maintain a deep understanding of life insurance, general insurance, fixed income, mutual funds, and other related products.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing and product teams to showcase products and features, generating business leads.

Essential Skills:

  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of life insurance, general insurance, fixed income, mutual funds, and other related products.
  • Wealth/Portfolio Management: Ability to analyze client portfolios, understanding risk and reward appetite, and assist in achieving financial objectives.
  • Financial Planning/Investment Advisory: Thorough knowledge of financial and sector trends, competitors, and ability to provide sound advice.
  • Social/Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, socializing, and relation-building skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze client requirements, logical and numerical ability, and deal with stress.

Other Information:
