Job Description

The role of a Building Services Engineer is to design and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for buildings. This involves working closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of the MEP systems.

The engineer will oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems, ensuring that they meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

In addition, the engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing systems for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.

The engineer will also prepare and review detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and planning of MEP systems
  • Collaboration with architects and construction managers
  • Overseeing the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards
  • Designing and optimizing systems for energy efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications

A deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in a similar field.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are also required, as well as the ability to manage project timelines and resources.

Additionally, the candidate should have aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges.
